The Innovators <\/em>was a fantastic Audible book that I then purchased the book to reread. The digital age can be traced back to 1833, where the smart and amazing Count Lovelace met with Charles Babbage. Her thoughts and notes on Charles Babbage’s analytical engine would become a blueprint for the world to develop a machine to display pictures, play music, and lay the digital age foundation. The Innovators then dives into how ideas and diverse groups helped expand each layer to form what we know of now. With that in mind, I believe anyone who uses a computer, smartphone, or any other electric device should read or listen to The Innovators<\/em>. Those who are young for inspiration, and those who are old to remember a world clamoring for the next best thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars. Being a closet computer geek, this was an impactful read. Showing casing how women and men alike contributed to the digital revolution was eye-opening. I want my children to read this to understand what they can achieve if they focus and harness knowledge and ideas; they can be the next great innovators.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
