Slowly, the room came into focus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four walls appeared yet depending on where one viewed the room\nit seemed rectangle or square. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There now was a bookshelf, pictures of mysterious faces, and\nshelves with random items spread about them. Each piece had its own\nstory, its own life yet now they were frozen in time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pictures hung on the walls, the d\u00e9cor was vibrant, however, a\nwhite wooden panel door was the only exit.

\nIn the middle of the room a yielded a blue couch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On it laid a man on his back looking up towards the ceiling. 
\n
\nHe blinked. 
\n
\n            “Who is there?” He asked the\nroom, “I know you are there.” 
\n
\nHe sat up yet hunched over, peering from corner to corner. 
\n
\n            “I know you are there! I can feel\nyou!” He shouted, his voice echoing off the four walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He rose from the crouch moving from corner to corner like a caged\nanimal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \u201cI have been sitting here, waiting, for\nwhat!?\u201d he lashed at his unseen tormenter, \u201cWhy can\u2019t you say anything?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Frustrated,\nhe sat back down. \u201cFine.\u201d he thought, knowing that his thoughts would be eventually\nbe read telepathically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He could not remember a time before this room\nand could no longer remember how long he has been there only specific events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            One such day\nwas when he could feel hundreds of unseen eyes watching him. Some of these\nghosts left symbols on the walls. A few thumbs up and one heart. He couldn\u2019t\nunderstand why, nor the reason for his existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Did he live only\nto hold this place in time? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His thoughts continued. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Would this\nroom exist if I did not occupy this space or would something else be holding this\npoint in place? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He peered up to the ceiling once again.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part of him felt honored someone stopped to visit\nbut felt saddened that they will not stay forever. They can\u2019t; there are other\nrooms they must visit in the time they have remaining. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He, however, will be trapped in this world forever\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon, the visitor will leave, and the room\nwould fade from view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet now a copy of that room might now live deep\nin the visitors subconscious. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
